Earlier this month, presidential candidate Mitt Romney held a rally in Ohio which was intended to show that coal country was solidly behind him. It turns out that those miners who attended were told to do so by their employer. The event was mandatory and unpaid.
Another example of democracy at its finest.
SPEAKING OF COAL, here's some interesting news in the ongoing Upper Big Branch federal investigation.
THE ECONOMY ISN'T GROWING MUCH but poverty is.

I had a buddy who worked as a surveyor for a lumber company in northern WV.
He was a republican anyway and his dad worked for Halliburton so he didn't care- but he said that his boss wrote all his employees 1000 dollar checks and then they had to donate them to Raese.
This wasn't on Raese's last run but on one of his many runs in the 80's early 90's?
Anyway I thought that sounded better than having to be forced to go to a rally and listen to MITTENS.
