Round two of daylong hearings on overhauling WV's tax system was held yesterday at the WV legislature. I didn't make it this time, but it looks like the conversation was pretty rational. It sounds like the show will start next time. And, as Gazette political reporter Phil Kabler notes here, some measures on the table would deliver a hard blow to counties, which aren't in any shape to take one.
